Welding Department at Oklahoma Technical College
At Oklahoma Technical College we believe in the power of hands-on learning. Our students spend a majority of their time learning in our fully-equipped shops, designed to simulate their soon-to-be real life work environment.
Our welding shop includes over 20 individual welding booths equipped with Lincoln Multi-process welders, two Lincoln Hi-Frequency GTAW welders specifically designed for welding Aluminum, one 500 amp welder for Air Arc Gouging and Innershield Flux Core Welding and various other tools welders use daily, including:
- Track Torch
- Pipe Beveling Torch
- Oxy-Fuel Hand Cutting Torch
- Plasma Cutting Torch
- Motorized Roll-out Wheels
- Band saw
- Chop saw
- Grinders
We take pride in our facilities and continually evaluate to ensure we stay up-to-date with industry standards.
